Terms of Service

Last updated: April 20, 2026

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PDFBolt, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Service Description

PDFBolt provides free, browser-based tools for PDF and document processing. All file processing occurs locally on your device. We do not store, access, or transmit the contents of your files. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Permitted Use

You may use PDFBolt for personal and commercial purposes, provided that you:

Intellectual Property

The PDFBolt name, logo, site design, and the custom conversion engines are the property of their respective owners. The underlying open-source libraries (pdf.js, docx, pdf-lib, pdfmake, jszip, and others) are licensed under their individual open-source licenses, which continue to apply.

No Warranty

PDFBolt is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that conversions will be perfect, that specific formatting will be preserved, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Always keep backup copies of your original files before using any conversion tool.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PDFBolt and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the service — including but not limited to data loss, conversion errors, lost profits, or service interruptions — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Third-Party Services

PDFBolt is supported by third-party advertising (Google AdSense) and uses third-party services for hosting (Cloudflare) and typography (Google Fonts). Your use of these services through PDFBolt is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of PDFBolt at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any such modification or discontinuation.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of PDFBolt after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
